Testing the new DTLS instability detection feature

Hello

I’m doing two things now:
– I’ve upgraded ZCC on my laptop to latest 4.8 to test DTLS instability detection. I’ll give it a few days but if I get bored during the week I’ll manually cause some instability on my home network to see what the app will do. If you want to test this feature, raise a support ticket to get this feature enabled so that you can see it in the mobile portal.
– I’ve enabled SSL inspection on my Android tablet . I expect that I will need to add new exceptions because of this. There was also a bit of tinkering involved because I had to export the Zscaler root certificate from the ZIA portal and manually install it in Settings, and this is because Android no longer allows automatic cert installation. We’ll see how it goes. I’m not using that tablet a lot these days so I might not notice any impact immediately. I had to do it so that I can control anything my kids watch and do. I guess i’m one of few people that use Zscaler as a “security for families” thing. Maybe it could be our new product…

This week I’m going to take part in the first trainings on ZCC 4.9, so I guess I need to hurry up with the testing of all the 4.8 features. ZCC 4.9 can be had as a limited availability release, so if you feel particularly bold (or bored), you can raise a support ticket to test the new features. There be dragons, though, so this is definitely not something for the faint-hearted.
