Time flies || Summary of January 2026

January was a really good month despite a few strange setbacks. I think i’m becoming clumsier and clumsier, because I first broke a toe in my right foot and now sprained another one in my left foot.
Anyways, I did some really heavy all-round powerlifting trainings and consequently moved my benchpress record from 134 to 136kg. I’m now doing Smolov jr. for all three activities (bp, dl, sq) and i’m more or less at the same level everywhere, doing 100 – 105 – 110 – 115kg in benchpress and squat, while lagging a hair with the deadlift. I’m going to make quicker progress with squat and deadlift so each week i’ll try to increase the weight by 2.5kg while staying with 1kg progression for benchpress.
Sadly, I couldn’t do any running with the broken toe so I’m going to start around mid February. Maybe i’ll start wearing slippers at home to avoid further injuries…
